Hello
everybody! Actually I have a plan to visit Bintulu on January, 10, 2015
(Saturday) by bus. When I asked my mom to send me to go to Terminal bus and
then she said “Get the car everybody! Lets us visit elder Baranov before he
leave.” I put my entire luggage to the car and we go to Bintulu at 11 o’clock
in the morning and we arrive at 1.42 p.m. in Park City Mall. We got call from
elder Baranov and we met elder Baranov and elder Call in Park City mall. There
is nothing different; he’s still like Baranov in Sibu and Bongholio to. I’m so
excited and happy when I meet him. He was sponsored us lunch and we walked
around. He brought us to the church in Park City. The church in Park City is a
shoplot and small. That is 1st time we went to the Park City Chapel.
All elders are coming except the zone leaders (Elder Allen & Lambert). We
had taken some picture in the Church.
I took my luggage in the car and put
it in the Church. My mom left at 5.30 p.m. in the evening. We (Elder Baranov,
Call & I) went to Park City mall because elder Baranov needs to buy some
gift for his parents and his friends. His mother likes a shirt that has a cat
pattern and his father like a Hawaiian shirt. He asked me and elder Call to
find the beautiful shirt for his parent.
On Sunday (Jan, 11, 2015), the
sacrament meeting started like 9.30 o’clock in the morning. Before the
sacrament meeting we had took some picture. Elder Baranov gave a talk, which that
is he’s last talk in his mission. I like his talk (nice talk). He feels so sad
and happy also. The sad is he will finish his mission and he love to being a
full-time missionary, he loves people here, he learnt something such as hard
working, independent, loves, close with Christ, humble and so on. He will give
a testimony about his mission when he’s home. I love him. He is silly man but
something he likes trunky. Haha (Just kidding.) I asked Brother Ethan to take
me to Sungai Plan and Tanjung Kidurong Branch. I’m waiting for them, after
their finished their meeting. He takes me to Tanjung Kidurong Branch that day.
I’m so excited to meet with elder Takin’s and Jensen’s. That is the 1st
time I met with elder Takin, before that we just having a text and calls only.
We talked a lot of things. After the church we go to branch president house,
and they prepared some food for us. Then, I met with elder Sutherland and
Mccown. I think like a half year elder Sutherland left Sibu. Anyways, we just
talked and hang out.
We go to brother Azim house and he
brought us to go to sister Imang (She went to somewhere place), Sister Rebecca
(But she isn’t home). Then we go back to sister Imang house, and we talk a
little bit. Then we go to Brother Tok house because we are invited. Brother Tok
gave his daughters blessing, amazed family! We eat some food; I like rendang
(so tasty!). Elder Jensen tries to give me some rice and luckily he wasn’t put
too much. We left at 8 and we go home. I go back with Azim (The member). He is
a nice guy, friendly and helpful.
The next day, I woke up at 6 in the
morning and that so early. I got shower at 7.30 and ready to go to Farley. Azim
went to school and he couldn’t follow us. We went to Farley by van (Tanjung
Kidurong – Farley = RM3/ each) that so cool!! We go to Farley court and ate
canai. I got canai kosong and canai telur, and I think that elder Takin and
elder Jensen got canai 0. After breakfast, I booked ticket to back home. We go
to cyber café and emailing. All missionaries were there like 11 o’clock in the
morning. After we were in Cyber café we go to 1 restaurant (I had never see the
restaurant like that before in Sibu). I got order like elder Takin because I
have no idea about the food; I think that is Chicken Butter maybe and cold
water. Elder Jensen got fried potato and cheese, mayonnaise and BBQ sauce.
Elder Sutherland and Mccown come after 5 minutes then. Then all elder are
coming to the restaurant. Elder Takin’s paid the bill for me. After lunch we
walked around Farley. They waiting for Brother Ethan to picked them up in the
Farley. I need to waiting for the bus like 1 hour. The bus come like 5.50 p.m.
We off to Sibu at 6 and we had a pit-stop at selangau like 15 minutes and the
bus so slow. Finally I arrived in Sibu at 10 p.m. My father picked me up there
and also elder Jahali and Liddle. That is a fun trip to bintulu. I make a
friend with all members in Bintulu for each branch.
